The Julio Pérez Ferrero Public Library serves as a cultural hub for the North Santander community and border regions, designed as a social, cultural, and educational space that provides free public access to knowledge in various formats. It plays an active role in shaping identity by preserving architectural, bibliographic, journalistic, documentary, and photographic heritage of the region.

THE PROBLEM
There was an urgent need to develop applications that would modernize and automate the entire content management process, both internally and externally
f
THE SOLUTION
Using Scriptcase, we developed a Management System for consulting library copies and bibliographic materials. This system ensures the preservation of the collection while enabling digital access for users.
f
RESULTS:
f
AGILITY & SECURITY
Scriptcase stands out for its ability to quickly generate primary tables and master-detail forms while simplifying CRUD operations. It also provides user authentication security and advanced query tools.
DIGITAL ACCESS TO THE COLLECTION
With the Bibliographic Material Consultation Management System, we organized and modernized the entire access process, making a digital consultation service available.
AUTOMATION & MODERNIZATION
The system enabled us to automate and modernize the entire process of digitization, indexing, and user service. Now, users can access PDF copies and view them on 32” touchscreen devices.
STATISTICS MANAGEMENT:
We developed a Content Management System to track public library activities, allowing us to: Generate monthly statistics on users and staff, helping optimize services; Record all activities and services provided and Track the number of users served in each area or library.
EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS:
From the start, we provided 10 free digital copies to the community, preserving materials and preventing deterioration. Over time, the system captured nearly 2,000 activity records per month, significantly improving management and efficiency.
