THE PROBLEM:

We identified the need to resolve several issues related to reporting management in our company. With multiple ERPs in use, we faced long waits when requesting new reports from solution providers. To speed up this process and gain autonomy, we searched the market for a tool that would allow us to build customized reports internally quickly and easily. We prioritize an accessible programming language, making learning easier for the team. Additionally, we expanded our use of Scriptcase to develop integrations between systems, reducing rework and increasing operational efficiency. Today, applications developed in Scriptcase are as robust and vital as our other corporate systems.

The decision to adopt Scriptcase at Engelmig was driven by the search for a tool that would simplify systems integration, reducing dependence on a large IT team. Relying on rapid learning and agility in the solution development process, we have developed several systems that meet the most varied demands of our company. Examples of systems:

– Proposal Control:  We developed a customized solution in Scriptcase for Engelmig, addressing the lack of a CRM system in our ERPs. This solution allows the registration of opportunities, internal sharing, and sending of alerts to monitor budget deadlines, in addition to centralizing documentation with appropriate permissions.

– Integrated Management System (GIS): Scriptcase was fundamental in creating a system for managing Engelmig’s ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications. This system enables effective documentation management, review control and training, playing an important role during audits.

– Process Control: Initially designed to register processes received from partner legal offices, our project evolved into robust process control, with control of hearing dates and integrations with our ERPs, providing more efficient management of the legal department.

– Property Rental Management: To manage property rentals in various locations where we operate, we developed a system in Scriptcase that allows the control of deadlines, additions, contract values ​​, and alerts for associated expenses, such as water, electricity, and internet.

– 0800 Protocol Registration: With an extensive fleet and a 24-hour active monitoring center, we developed a system in Scriptcase to register all 0800 activations. This allows us to manage and Monitor reported incidents, from simple issues such as fuel card blockages to problems that require towing.

– Traffic Fines Management: To deal with the frequent traffic fines of our large fleet, we used Scriptcase to develop a system that allows manual registration of notifications, as well as integrations via third-party API.

– Daily Monitoring of Fleet Availability: We developed a system in Scriptcase to monitor fleet availability, enabling the monitoring of vehicles undergoing maintenance, replacement with reserve vehicles, expected departure from the workshop and status of work orders.

– Sending Documentation to the Client: To comply with contractual obligations, such as employee payments and taxes, we developed a control system in Scriptcase that allows the monthly sending of documentation and proof of payment. The Human Resources Department can attach documentation throughout the month, and on the day of submission, the Analyst can easily view what has not yet been attached, ensuring an efficient and organized process.

– Report Scheduling: We developed a report scheduling routine in Scriptcase, where the IT team prepares queries directly in the ERP database. This routine allows you to configure the times and emails that will receive the alerts. This functionality is widely used by managers to monitor the entry of expenses in the business units that are under their responsibility. This allows them to question in time the legitimacy of these entries and whether the appropriation for the respective business unit was correct before the amounts were settled. Additionally, it offers the flexibility to customize any type of report or identify anomalies in releases.
