ABOUT BIOVIDA
Biovida is a health insurance company with more than 10 years in the market. It has a whole network referenced with state-of-the-art hospitals and clinics so that their almost 100 thousand associates can count on the appropriate treatment to their needs.
THE PROBLEM
As there was a great advance in the number of customers, it was necessary to modernize the processes. Given the need to interact with the customer via the web, we needed something that integrated our ERP with some web services and it had to be quick since we didn’t have time to waste with learning curves for different technologies.
THE SOLUTION
We wanted a tool that would meet our new web development needs and that at the same time had a low learning curve, it was at this time that Scriptcase came up and it was here to solve the problem.

With Scriptcase we were able to meet the internal demands of the operator very quickly, such as online slips, accredited network, requests for cards, and others that were part of the requirements of ANS – Agência Nacional de Saúde Complementar – National Complementary Healthcare Agency
With the systems developed, we had a 50% increase in the speed of customers services

Results details:
Biovida offers health plans in an accessible way to about 100 thousand associates’ lives. Aiming to improve the service processes of its associates, the company started using Scriptcase software in 2012, a tool that creates personalized resources for its system. As a result, it was able to speed up its service by up to 50%.
Among the various solutions developed, there was the implementation of the biometrics process which is used by its associates in accredited offices, laboratories, and hospitals. Before the realization of this process, when the customer sought care at a clinic the attendant used to check to see if the plan covered the desired procedure. Now with the applications developed in Scriptcase, the entire authorization process has become incomparably faster.

The systems developed with Scriptcase had 100% positive feedback from our team! The reliability and security that the systems bring to service providers were fundamental to the evolution of the quality of our service.
Another application developed that deserves to be highlighted is our Online Scheduling System, also developed with Scriptcase using a centralized database. This system shows in real-time the availability of all professionals and procedures offered by the network. Internally speaking, this system was also responsible for a 50% gain in the speed of the process.
We have also developed an electronic medical record that today is implemented with a single database and it is also used by several business partners.
In addition to the systems developed, Biovida’s own IT team is developing a complete management system for partner hospitals – using the tool.
