ABOUT:
Our company is Miami Systems, which has been in the market of systems development since 1989, more specifically in the market of Insurance Brokers and Mechanical Workshops. We also develop solutions for many different segments, and now we also provide a solution for container shippers.
THE PROBLEM:
We were looking for a solution for migrating our desktop systems to the cloud environment that would be feasible in terms of a short learning curve and up-to-date layout in relation to the market.
THE SOLUTION:
We were introduced to Scriptcase in September 2018, and by January 2019, our first system was up and running. In addition, thanks to the solution, with the arrival of the pandemic in early 2020, we were ready with all our systems already properly migrated and operational. If we had not found Scriptcase, we would certainly have shut down our activities.

Results (Miami Systems):
Using Scriptcase, we were able to migrate all of our desktop system to the cloud in about 1 year. We migrated our main systems, Insurance Brokerage (Argos Cloud) and Mechanical Workshop (Mecânico Senior), and created new systems from the solution. With the advent of the home office, the ability for systems to be accessed from employees’ homes became vital for the survival of customers’ businesses during the pandemic, and being ready at that moment was critical.
Besides migrations, we have also developed new systems such as Imob Senior for Real Estate Agencies, Super Husband for managing Husband for Rent, Unitizer, our system to control the unitization of container cargo and its geolocation with the help of satellites, Membresia for managing members and church donors, and we are finishing our system for a health card plan, Elo Saúde.
Scriptcase has a low learning curve, so we are able to learn and develop results quickly.
In terms of percentages, our base of 100% desktop systems is now down to 35%, and all of that was migrated in less than 3 years.
Our revenue also received a 23% increase free of inflation, and we can say that the change in the environment was the trigger for this result.
