It is good that you document everything and not in a hasty speed because this might lead you into trouble. Do not waste to discuss what the systems and technology, discuss what the business requires. Remember that the technology and systems are there to support the business but not to dictate the running of its operations. Time has reached to think how you are going to deliver what you require in the business.
If you already have software contenders, then it’s good that you allow demonstrations by vendor for the customers. Have a trial phase with the top vendors to connect the requirement and the product.
